  1. When making jewelry and casting a small amount of epoxy, it is possible to pour up to 2” thickness at once.
  2. No epoxy resin worldwide is completely UV stable. However, high-quality raw materials and additives such as UV absorbers can increase UV stabilization. By using a top coat, you can further increase the UV stabilization of the epoxy. Top coats are e.g., transparent polyurethane (PU) resins or lacquers that are painted or sprayed onto the epoxy coating as a finish.
  3. When properly used and completely cured, it is VOC free. "VOC" is the abbreviation for volatile organic compounds. VOC-containing epoxy resins, as well as adhesives and paints, can continue to evaporate for years after drying and curing and release substances that are hazardous to health into the indoor air. The VOC content in the air can be determined with CO2 measuring devices. Especially in closed rooms, a high VOC content in the air can lead to breathing difficulties, headaches, and other health problems. In closed rooms and when using a lot of epoxy resin, e.g. for tables and floors, we, therefore, advise the use of our high-quality, VOC-free epoxy resins.
  4. All our epoxy resin systems are without free BPA (=Bisphenol A). "BPA-free" means that there is no free bisphenol A in our epoxy resins. Bisphenol A is a plasticizer in plastics and resins. Bisphenol A can dissolve from BPA-containing products when they come into contact with food and then enter the human body. This can again can cause health problems.

Bubble Free

Thanks to special additives, our epoxy resins self-vent completely at room temperature. This means that all air bubbles disappear before complete chemical curing. You do not need a blow torch or hot air gun to remove the bubbles. Since no extra heat is applied to the uncured resin, there is no risk of having soot stains on your resin.

Instructions for Use

  1. Always start with an epoxy resin primer to avoid high material loss and blistering (layer thickness: approx. 1/64″). To do so, simply use a portion of the same clear epoxy resin. Mix the resin A-component with the hardener B-component in a ratio of 2:1 (e.g., 32oz resin: 16oz hardener).
  2. Stir through the edge and bottom of the mixing cup as the material will settle there. Ideally, pour into a clean mixing cup and mix again until the mixture is streak-free. This ensures that the resin A-component and hardener B-component are completely mixed together.
  3. Pour the resin-hardener mixture onto the surface to be coated immediately after mixing, as the product can start to boil in the mixing cup.
  4. Paint the epoxy primer with a paint roller or brush on the desired surface. (approx. 20 hours at 68°F)
  5. Continue with the main coating in the same way.

Info: Epoxy resin is sensitive to any kind of moisture during curing (risk of amine blush formation, i.e., white patches in the top layer). For this reason, we recommend that you avoid any contact between water and the epoxy until it has cured completely. For thin layers, cold temperatures (ambient, substrate, and resin temperatures below 70°F) and increased humidity, the time until the epoxy resin is fully cured may be extended.
