EPODEX Glitter Flakes RAINBOW
EPODEX Glitter flakes are ideally suited for use in casting and laminating resins (including epoxy, polyester, and polyurethane resins) as well as many other areas of application, such as nail art and art.

Application in epoxy resins
- Mix the glitter flakes with the resin (A-component) or with the resin-hardener mixture.
- Recommendations for high coverage: approx. 1.5% glitter flakes by weight on total amount of resin and hardener (e.g. 15g(0.53oz) flakes for 32oz resin+hardener).
- Recommendations for low coverage: approx. 0.5% glitter flakes by weight on total quantity of resin and hardener (e.g. 5g(0.18oz) glitter flakes for 32oz resin+hardener).
- Adjust the intensity of the effect individually by adding more or less pigment.
Caution: Due to their size, the glitter flakes will sink in liquid resin. To prevent sinking, sprinkle the glitter over the poured and gelled resin-hardener mixture and stir it in carefully. Alternatively, you can pour the epoxy in several layers and sprinkle on the glitter flakes. The gelling time varies between epoxy systems. Therefore, check the consistency before sprinkling on the glitter flakes.
To spread glitter flakes that have already sunk, adjust the gelling time and mix the resin-hardener mixture carefully. Make sure that mixing does not create air bubbles, as these will not escape in the gelled resin-hardener mixture.
