EPODEX Glitter Pigments are ideally suited for use in casting and laminating resins (including epoxy, polyester, and polyurethane resins) and many other applications.

Application in epoxy resins
- Mix the glitter pigments with the resin (A-component) or with the resin-hardener mixture.
- Recommendations for high coverage: approx. 1,5% glitter pigment by weight on total amount of resin and hardener (e.g. 15g(0,53oz) color pigments for 32oz resin+hardener).
- Recommendations for low coverage: approx. 0,5% glitter pigment by weight on total quantity of resin and hardener (e.g. 5g(0,18oz) color pigments for 32oz resin+hardener).
- Adjust the intensity of the effect individually by adding more or less pigment.
Caution: Due to the pigment size, the pigments sink in liquid resin. To prevent sinking, sprinkle the glitter over the poured and gelled resin-hardener mixture and stir it in gently. Alternatively, you can pour the epoxy in several layers and sprinkle on the glitter pigments. The gelling time varies among the epoxy resin systems. Therefore, check the consistency before sprinkling on the glitter pigment.
To disperse pigments that have already sunk, adjust the gelling time and mix the resin-hardener mixture carefully. Make sure that mixing does not create air bubbles, as these will not escape in the gelled resin-hardener mixture.
